Consistency

For you to master something or turn an activity into a habit, there’s a very important quality: consistency.

Let’s be honest - not everything is going to be 100% fun, 100% of the time. There will be times when you will put things off because they require too much research, take too much time, or simply isn’t fun. When you feel you are too busy for something, remember that you will never be too busy for doing something you really enjoy and love.
Whether that’s an activity like journalling, photography, or surfing; or it’s a habit you are trying to implement in your life like making your bed every morning, eating a good breakfast every day, or drinking plenty of water; doing at least something related to it each day will give you some satisfaction but more importantly a starting path to your goal.
Showing up and doing as little as 1% more every day can be what can make your dream of learning something come true.

You are in control of your own life.

Imagine this - Your reminder to go to the gym at 7:00 pm everyday. It goes off. You have two options - stay at your friend’s house or go to the gym. Which do you pick? 👀
Depending on the course of action you are taking, there may be times you need to turn down invitations to parties or hang-outs. There may be other times when you need to ask everyone to leave your home because you are trying to sleep earlier or improve your sleeping schedule.
No one has the power to control what you do or keep you from doing something.
Here’s a quote I read a couple days ago that really stuck with me: "Are you satisfied with where you are and the direction you are going? If not, take control of your life and change whatever needs to be changed. You and only you have the power to do this.”

It’s all in your hands.
Show up and try to do 1% more each day - I promise you that if you stay consistent with your goals, it’ll lead you to wherever you want your mind to go.
Take care, lovelies <33
