Could It Be Something Else? ...

Sometimes situations aren’t exactly how they look. Someone could have parked over the lines of your parking spot, and the first thought that you may have is “wow, they really parked like that.” It’s quite possible that they didn’t park properly because of another reason.

There are several circumstances that could have occurred resulting in the car being parked as it was. Their friend or family could be injured, they were having a bad day, they mistook your spot as their spot, or they simply just did not realize that they parked over your spot.

There comes a point in life where it becomes very important to realize that we cannot judge people and jump to conclusions so quickly, especially if you do not have all the facts.

~

Imagine this: Your partner didn’t make the dinner they promised to cook you right after work.

Without taking the time to ask them if everything was okay or how come they didn’t get to cooking the dinner, it may be unfair to be screaming at them and making assumptions that they were just being lazy.

Try to understand ~ why ~ from their perspective first.

I am not saying that there is a justification for someone being rude or disrespectful to you, but rather to always take into consideration that there could always be other possibilities than what may not appear to the naked eye.

Your partner that didn’t cook dinner may have hurt their foot, had something happen a few minutes prior, or genuinely just slipped their mind.

Take the time out to talk about it and get that clarity, no matter if it's a friend, partner, or a roommate. Assuming things won’t benefit anyone, but genuinely wanting to understand the facts will not only make you feel better but will also really show the other person how much you really care.

Take care, lovelies <33
